Yes, he is talented. However, you don't beat someone by trying to be better them that with their own strengths. You take advantage of their weaknesses using your own strengths.

that's why wifebeater ducked margarito... margarito won't wait on wifebeater.. he'll just keep throwing even tho all he's hitting is wifebeater's arms and shoulders. (that's not to say that wifebeater can't beat marg, just saying that's why he ducked him)
waiting is a good way to beat himyou can unch when he punches and throw when he stops
he leaves him self open as much as anyone else watch him throw a right he leaves the left down or when he jabs he rasies up an is open to be hitwith body shots he also is very predictable and to be honest his feet arent what they used to be notice he finds the rope now a days more then normal remind of someone (jones)

like some guy said on here its not him getting old in a fight but inbetween em

he can shoulder roll pac its easy it opens you up to be able to jab and then come across with your right hand to the body or head or left hook over the jab

Be warned most of what you guys say will be speculations, reason being that he's undefeated.

no, the way to beat floyd is the way to beat anyone. you gotta do to floyd exactly what floyd does to other guys, make him see a mirror image of himself, learn his feints and don't fall for any of that dumb ****. you gotta be smart and box, and don't get ****** into that pull-counter, control the distance
You just described a mega fight featuring Floyd vs Floyd. Can anybody currently fight like Floyd?

Freddie tried to implement the blueprint on how to beat Floyd with a much fresher, stronger, and heavier Oscar. They even hired Shane to help out with the so- called similar style to Floyd. Not to mention, Oscar worked with Floyd's dad for a few of his own fights.

Mind you, that was Floyd's first fight above 147lbs for the championship title.

The biggest flaw Floyd has his when he reaches in to jab to the body he's always open to a counter right over left jab, though he was always quick enough to get away with it, if you are quick enough or quicker you might catch him.

The big thing why everyone wants to see this fight is because the way to beat Floyd (apparently, the only noticable way) is to just outwork him and the way to beat Pacquiao is to outbox him, both of them are great at each.

Just by watching them I think Floyd is an overall better fighter and would manage to beat Manny by outboxing him (though I do think Manny would be quite successful early), I just think Floyd will adjust... but one plus that Manny has on his side is being a southpaw, because it means Floyd wont be able to use the shoulder roll as effectively.

So basically the only way I see Manny winning is trying to outwork him the whole fight, he could do it, but I see Floyd adjusting and ending up outboxing him. Manny gets hit quite often when you watch him against fighters that stand infront of you and fight (Margarito, Clottey, Cotto) but Mannys workrate overcomes it, against a guy like Floyd he wont just stand infront of him and be a target he will hit and move.

But with that said, Floyd is 34 now he is no spring chicken himself.

well first you need a stiff, quicker and better jab, you also need excellent timing, don't try to go.in there and knock him out, his defense minimizes how many punches you throw because of his effective well timed and accurate counters, quick jabs too the body and lead rights so out working him won't work. you have to outbox and out counter him which would cause for a boring fight. The only downfall with trying to counter him his footwork and speed would allow him to adapt into the aggressor like in the Mosley fight.
