    The California State Athletic Commission is receiving the money, not the WBC.

    And it is actually a quite common and accepted practice. The athletic commission usually keeps half of whatever fines a boxer gets because they broke their rules.

              Canelo only won because of the weight advantage, if he made weight hatton would have knocked him out.
