This is the first I see of Sillakh. I'm really impressed.

Yordanis showed his low mental game, and inexeperience in the fight.he played way too much to the crowd , and looked like a poor man's tavoris cloud.he head hunted basically the wholv nite, should mix in the body shots a lot more.the aggressiveness overmatched yordanis and add the fact mcgirt was working the corner.

Ismayl Sillakh is a great fighter. I thought he did too much show boating after the K.O. and allowed Despaigne to get back into the fight though.

He looked solid all around. I was impressed.

Despaigne took a big gamble and it didn't pay off. I like his style too, hopefully he rebounds.

Good points. I agree especially with the remark about playing to the crowd; I really felt that early on. Despaigne was sloppy and headhunted early, but he was outclassed tonight. Ismayl Sillakh is for real. He's fast, poised and slick. The kid has real pop in his hands, his punches sounded so much louder than Despaine's....

Dominant performance from Ismayl Sillakh, and he seems like a decent kid. Good luck to him; he has a bright future.

Silakh is a great fighter love his style and specially how smart he is. I unlike others didnt mind him boxing after the knockdown why risk it when your simply outclassing your opponent??? Love his discipline and his corner who tells him the right things. Future champ

It's funny how, in boxing, the bigger, stronger looking guy isn't always the harder hitter. Teddy Atlas kept saying how Despaigne has the Hercules body but prefers to box. Sillakh landed fast, often and HARD. I agree that Yordanis wasn't anything to get excited about, but the way he got owned tonight was impressive.

I'm with you on this. Sillakh probably could've finished the affair in the third, but kept his poise and chose to let the KO come if it was in the cards.
