ok why is devon moslty written off in this fight?? the guy just lost to timmy on points after butts but he was doing good in the fight even though he was losing it..and devon can still box even though hes punches dont land that much he has to work on accuracy alot will take him a couple of years but he has to cuz he hits gloves or even air sometimes other than that he would b a very good fighter in the future cuz he is still very very young..but anyways going back to the fight i think devon can outbox lucas but not without taking some hard shots from lucas ...but maidana v alexander would b crazy idk why that fight didnt happen instead but this fight is preety good too..

2 good fights this is redemption time for Devon if he beats Matthysse in impressive fashion the Bradley loss will become a after thought and K-9 is a good test for Lara he is good but is he the real dealComment

Glad to see they're putting Alexander in tough in his next fight. They better not turn around and put him in against a softer look. HBO needs to find out if he's worth their money sooner than later at this point. The division is packed, no sense dragging this out.Golden Boy Promotions CEO, Richard Schaefer, told BoxingScene.com that there is a very good chance that southpaw former WBC junior welterweight king Devon Alexander, of St. Louis, Mo., could soon be matched against Argentinian knockout artist Lucas Matthysse, as part of an HBO televised double-header that would also feature newly crowned IBF titlist Cornelius Bundrage of Detroit defendng his belt against Miami's hard-hitting, unbeaten southpaw Erislandy Lara of Cuba.
