i never seen Dzinziruk fight so i cant say nuthin about him

but here's somethin i've just been wanting to say lately
margarito and mosley are pacquiao's only real bad choices

i mean, if you consider clottey a cherrypick then you have to consider cotto a cherrypick right? pacquiao fought cotto who won out of the fight with clottey but alot of people thought clottey won, if pac didn't fight clottey it'd be considered a duck, you had respectable posters talkin bout how clottey could win, not anyone's fault clottey folded from the barrage of punches, not a cherrypick, but actually a good win, it's only considered crap now because of clottey's performance

pacquiao's win over clottey is nearly on par with martinez' win over pavlik
esspecially considering the version of pavlik he fought

What's the point of this thread?

Why don't we look at their whole body of work instead?

Maravilla, obviously. Is this just to hate on people who like Pacquiao?

Not really. Cotto has done alot more than Clottey ever will, that means something. And regardless to many thinking Clottey won (including myself) it was a close fight that was given to Cotto. The guy Manny just dismantled. So no, if you consider Clottey a cherrypick, that doesnt mean you consider Cotto one too.

I can only assume you weren't active on these boards when the Clottey fight was coming up. Only a small handful gave Clottey a chance in hell. And rightfully so.

Who would consider Clottey a duck? seriously? Nobody would. He just destroyed Cotto, the clearly better fighter.

It's Manny and Arum's fault for putting Clottey in there with him, who clearly isn't on his level. Had Clottey not been with Top Rank, I assure you the fihgt would never have been thought of.

The Clottey win is NOT as good as the Pavlik win. Pavlik has actually won big fights in his career. And Pavlik was the Lineal Champion at 160. The onyl reason Clottey was #5 when Pacqiuao fought him is because the Welterweight division is so ****ing terrible.

Manny Pacqiuao has had an incredible career. Beating Joshua Clottey isn't an incredible part of it..
