Lacy delayed Calzaghe fight

I'm not sure about that, Lacy should cause Calzaghe some problems but Calzaghe boxed really well last night, i think he fights better with one had than he does with two because he's not so wild. If Calzaghe uses his jab and speed he'll shut Lacy out, but if he fights like he normally does its anyone's fight.

I still haven't seen the fight yet... (Anorak said he'll up it for me).

The only reason I think Lacy has a chance of causing an upset is because Joe has looked a little off in his last few fights and I just wonder if age is catching up with him.

Plus, I'm not happy with his pre-fight training... When he got floored by Salem, it was a classic sign that he'd been doing pad work but little sparring.

I know I don't have to say this, but he NEEDS to be sparring before fights or he's gonna get beat.

I am concerned when I see Calzaghe's "I think I'm so **** hot I'll just go all in with no defence" style.

He does that against anyone, i can just imagine him hurting Lacy, dropping his hands and getting KO'd the **** out himself.

I wish he wouldnt do it, but at least it will make things more interesting.

Calzaghe looked really sharpe last night, the speed is still there, i dont think he's losing it just yet. He'll get some good sparring in for Lacy, he isnt as dumb as Reid.

I think I owe Joe an apology, I had thought that he was all washed-up but he won me over last night.

I can't see Lacy beating even an 80% Calzaghe, he's too limited for Joe. Joe looked fantastic last night for four rounds and then the way he kept Ashira off so easily with the right jab, right hooks and ring smarts for eight rounds I thought was actually real impressive! He even had the nerve to frequently drop his gloves below his knees and stick his chin out on a platter for Ashira who could barely lay a glove on him all night. I really had thought that Calzaghe was finished, but after seeing him last night I saw that he still has some.

Oh yeah!... LOL!... Reid didn't do ANY sparring before fighting Lacy, and his only training was a bit of shadow boxing next to the swimming pool... LOL!...

Reid can be a f**kin' idiot, and Brian Hughes should sacked! What kind of a trainer would let you get away with that preperation for a World title shot?
