Are these the lessons they learned from Ortiz?
They're taking no chances. They only have this kid in their stable that make them money.

Khan is draw in the UK. But even there he ain't no ricky hatton. In the US he is still virtually unknown as evidenced by his last fight which only drew 5k attendance.

Khan still has a long way to go. I think Alvarez brings in the most money for GBP at the moment that's why they're protecting him like a nun protects her ******ity.

Khan still makes money though...And, they also have rights to Haye who makes money.

And, both make money in the U.K which double(of 1.5) the currency rate of American dollars.

              So GBP makes money.

And, if I'm not mistaken they still get a percentage off Pac.

And, if/when(maybe next year) Floyd decides to comeback and if he fights under GBP banner. That would be yet another million+ PPV.

And, then you add the new deal they have with Saurland promotions.

Also the great sponsors they have, and HBO blind dates with their huge licensing fee. GBP makes money they still in good shape.

              And, I hate GBP.

And, I don't they're protecting Alvarez at all. He's being maneuvered as a 21yr old prospect with little to any amateur experience should be moved. The only mistake I see is them trying to give him a title so quickly.

Agree guys like Margarito, Cotto, Kirkland, Angulo **** even Kermit the frog would maul him.

A fight with Andrea would be good.

Exactly and give yourself and excuse for the embarrasing loss. Who knows maybe even talk your way into a rematch for another pay day. If his last name wasnt Hatton he wouldnt be getting this oppurtunity, so he may aswell take full advantage of it.
