I've seen street fights where guys have showed more heart than Ortiz. You act like Ortiz-like heart is unseen, I could understand if you said Gatti or Corrales, but fucking Ortiz?!

Let me explain this to you. I respect boxers so much that I recognize that even the lowliest journey man has more courage, heart, and balls then anyone on this message board. You know why? Because they actually accomplished getting to the pro ranks? You really think that just anybody can be a pro boxer?

Seriously some of you are dilusional to think that boxers are just like you and anyone can just jump into the ring and do what they do. For *** sake and you call yourself a boxing fan! Oh and the fights that you have see in the streets how many times was a murderous punching machine like Marcos Maidana involved?

Once again point out the poster that has accomplished what Victor has accomplished, hell point out the poster that has even come close to making the sacrifices that any journey man boxer has made to be at the pro level.

Thats my beef with some of the people on here
they act like he gave up against someone like mathew hatton or paulie malinaggi.
That was Maidanas coming out party and we all see that he packs a punch

Or was it when he quit against Maidana and then said "I'm too young to be taking that kind of punishment"?. Is it that?

What Ortiz did against Peterson and Campbell was run, more so against Campbell.
