Comments Thread For: Carl Froch: No Worries on Pavlik, I'd Beat Him Easy

WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch is not worried about the arriving Kelly Pavlik. The former middleweight champion is making a full-time move to the super middleweight division on May 7, when he returns to the ring on the Manny Pacquiao-Shane Mosley undercard at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Your not as slick, as fast, or as strong as Martinez, When Pavliks right hand touches you, you will quiver, Pavliks ain't no Abraham, I don't care who gives me **** for this I'm from Canton less then an hour away been a Pavlik fan and he can beat Froch

I've heard similar words before the Martinez-Pavlik fight "when Pavlik's right hand lands". He is not gonna land anything on Cobra, same outcome as Abraham fight.

i have to go with froch on this one. froch should worry about glen the road warrior Johnson. glen is doing a pretty good B-hop imatation. i think i have to go with glen vs froch. its pretty hard to go against glen. he always come to fight.

I'm glad you're a Pavlik fan but be honest with yourself -- Kelly isn't going to win this fight. I'm happy that he's back fighting though.

I believe one of those right hands put him down, regardless Pavlik was winning the fight sustained that nasty cut on his eye by Martinez left hand and fell apart. Froch is no Martinez, Pavlik is way above Abraham he can pressure, box has a ton of power good footwork, good hand speed, Froch wouldn't win like the AA fight, but like one dude said he needs to worry about Glen Johnson. But like I said I been a Pavlik fan, I'm always gonna take him to win, I'm more worried about Ward or Bute than Froch

Only with the first Taylor fight. He hasn't proven me wrong since. But I'll hold off on the criticism until I see him fight again. Now that he's clean and sober, I'm eager to see what he brings to the ring.

A man who's 6.1, fought for the entirety of his career at 168 and has proven power at that weight, isn't as strong as a former junior middleweight with around only a 50 percent k.o ratio?...LOL!
