  • Would the klitchko's last in the 70s?

    The 70s had great HWs!

knowing the competition from the 70s HWs, would the klitschko's be on top and have the belts they got?

Who would they match up with? who would put a good whoopin on them? Who would call them out to fight?

theyd be top heavy weights but wouldnt run the division like they do now

vitali would be more successful.....a match up like wlad versus shavers would be criminal..wlad chin would get shattered

George Foreman: "The Klitschkos would be great fighters in any era"

Either Klitschko beats any HW from any era.

Prime Shavers got KTFO in the 1st round by cruiserweight Quarry.

Either Klitschko destroys Earnie "15 losses" Shavers.

Sanders is the hardest hitting southpaw of all time

and that wasn't a Prime Wlad

Wlad has improved greatly under the tutelage of Emanuel Steward

Current Prime Wlad would KO any version of Sanders

They would be contenders, I think either brother would find it difficult to win a belt, the competition was so thick you had to be an exceptional fighter to even get a title shot. Vitali could have won a belt, wlad doesn't tick all the boxes, back then you wouldn't be able to avoid bad style match ups as easily as you can now, and with wlad against certain fighters he would have had to exchange with ali, norton, foreman, and he would not have lasted.
