No one is saying he is better but Ali wasn't a perfect fighter and its not out of the realm of possibility that Wlad could beat him. Wlad is after all one of the hardest punchers ever in the history of the sport not to mention usually doing well against slick elusive fighters.

As for Vaulev/Tyson/power thing......it really shows how far you guys are reaching going to some extreme example to make the K-bros look bad.

I can easily do that watch, FWs hit harder than WWs because Ponce de leon probably hits harder than Paulie Malinaggi.
extreme examples are the only way to get to some people.
and Pnce De Leon hitting harder than Malignaggi...why wouldnt that be legitimate(if its true)? just goes to show that size is not the only thing that matters when it comes to punching power.

the funny thing is that I actually think Wladimir has a very good chance against Ali. stylistically he would give Ali absolute hell. but putting down an entire excellent era? come on now.

I can't tell if your being sarcastic or not. Hweightblogger has being saying Wlad is better the whole thread. I must have missed all those slick fighters he faced LOL.

I did that? I am just raising questions about what the old timers could really do and how because of their size the K-bros would have advantages and make some fighters who looked really great and had great ko%s against smaller guys appear as if they would belong in a different weight class as them(because they would)

Byrd and Chambers are slick smaller fighters, they are the best examples we have of how he does against an opponent like that and historically being at a speed disadvantage has not caused Wlad a problem.

Either Klitschko beats any HW from any era.
Did you forget about Lewis he stopped a prime Vitali and he was fat.

you know that Holyfield started his professional career as a LHW at 22-23 years old, right?
You also know Holyfield became HW champion multiple times, and deserved a decision over 310lb Valuev at 45 years old and Valuev is a top fighter in todays divison right?

I never said you did, other certain Klitschko fans do, and thats why I argue against them.

the Klitschko brothers are excellent fighters, and you can make solid arguments for them winning certain fights against other greats. but the way they put down outstanding HW fighters is just wrong.

Byrd and Chambers wouldn't be contenders in any other era of HW boxing is Chambers slick compared to Ali is he?
