    You guys are jokes.
Joe Frazier and Ali featherfisted? good god. theres no point in trying to argue with you, especilaly when you like to selective quote and go off on random rants.

I guess Norton arguably beating Holmes means nothing? the same Holmes that beat Ray Mercer at 42 or so more one sidedly than near prime Lennox Lewis?

no, I guess thats too much to ask.

without the benefit of modern athletic training, I see Vitali still doing pretty well and Wlad getting Kayoed by a Foreman or Norton and taking up another sport.

I think the only way to ko or tko vit it by chopping the tree. Those shots he took vs lennox have me convinced. Joe would be in the pocket all night and outwork vit.

Ali I would favor to win a decision. As high as vit's boxing iq is, alis is higher and I think Ali could/would be almost impossible for vit to find cuz Ali would be on his bike, then slippng inside and flurrying. Then back on his bike. I think he'd find a way to decision vit.
You talk as if Vit is anywhere close to the class of Ali, where did Vit show this high ring IQ?

Don't bother argue with these idiots they use random stats to back up their ****** claims. Just leave them off and be among themselves they clearly have no boxing knowledge whatsoever.

In the ring in his fights, what makes Ali so great? I have never been overly impressed with him. I see a real good fighter with his hands and reflexes but the way ppl talk about him like he was some unbeatable monster.

Klitchos would be KO'd easily in > 6 rounds in any other era.

I think it's giving Ali pretty high praise that I would favor him over an athletic guy with like 4 inches and 30-50 lbs on him. I'd say that's a pretty serious outclassing when a dude has that type of height, reach, and weight advantage on you.

as far as vit showing ring smarts, see the arreola fight as the most recent time I was impressed with his ring smarts. the guy has developed his style to adjust and use as little energy as possible while almost never losing a round. granted his comp ****** balls as of late, but his showing against lennox proved to me he's a tough out for any hw in history (i still favor NOX over him prime for prime). I also think the confidence he's fought with since the lennonx fight bodes well for him vs anyone ever.

Keep on exposing yourself, you don't deserve a serious response considering how unreasonable and downright pathetic you were being in the history section, when I was being reasonable you just started insulting me and making claims about the entire section without providing any evidence.

While I would favor a 67 Ali over pretty much (if not) everyone, we're talking the 70s here, where he arguably lost 3 fights with Ken Norton. Frazier was fading fast the second two fights and while the Foreman fight was impressive, I don't believe that version of Ali was nearly as unbeatable.

The short answer is they would last, losing to the likes of Foreman, Holmes, Frazier and Ali (and maybe Norton,) but they might eke out a win (or two) against one or more of those and since both brothers have come back from devastating losses, I think they'd stick around to give us some interesting matchups.

And you're not implying that Wlad has avoided certain "style match ups",are you?
Yeah but he fought foreman in the end right? Twice I believe. I am not implying anything, im not as sad and pathetic as most people on here I am straight and to the point I have no hidden agenda to discredit any fighter. My opinion is based on the fact that there were less titles, you generally had a much tougher time before you got a title shot and you couldn't target a weaker champion like you can now. The competition was thick, now you wouldn't have to go through someone on the level of a Norton to get to a title shot.

There is no bad style match ups to avoid because there is no competition to put it plainly and simply for you. Anyway are you implying that Ali couldn't punch?...because if you are then there is no point even having this conversation
