Bro,this topic in particular is truly tread & poll worthy.Pacman would have gotten miles more credit for beating Martinez than Margarito.Every nay sayer(me included would eat crow).I believe this completely. For instance,I was never a Floyd fan,but I said if he fought Mosley,I'd give him his due, which I have.

The problem is that even real boxing fans are buying into the roid hype and it's sad because it tells me that the average "Boxing fan" doesn't know shhiitt about boxing!

a lot of people will say martinez was weight drained for going down from 160 to 154...you should know that by now. if cotto was weight drained at 145 how much more martinez at 154?

Would you be on your soap box clammoring for them to fight "middleweight" Champion sergio martinez? I doubt it!
Yeah, nice try,Martinez was available when Margarito was signed to fight Pacman. So was the Punisher, hell even Dzinziruk was available.Matter of fact so was the 5-6 K-9,a real 154lb champ.

Ohh yeah, before ya'll try to,I have never for an instant bought into the roid issue. It seemed & still does that that was just an excuse for Floyd to not fight Pacman.

The thing is pac has already accomplished what you give floyd credit for 3 times over. He fought Barrera, Morales, and Marquez in weight classes that were natural for him and beat them. Fighting in the welterweight and Junior Middleweight divisions are an extention of his skills.

In order for Mayweather to accomplish what pacs accomplished he would have to fight in the Super middleweight and LHW divisions and beat multi world champions. You do see the diffrence?

Oh,I guess then.Like people didn't say Margarito didn't deserve that fight,or that Mosley does not deserve this 1 right??Team Pacman chose 2 of the worst opponents in his last 2 fights, period.better options were available.

Jeez, what a bunch of crap!!!! Ok, Zab, your'e up next!!!

Margarito Chased Pac around for 12 rounds.... Just outclassed.

Clottey could have put up a better fight but he didnt want to get hit.... So he covered up... All night long..

I don't care what Floyd has accomplished,or what he has to do to catch Pacman,I was talking about 1 instance where i gave props where I said I was.I gave Pacman full credit for beating the featherweights U named. But his choice of opponents above 130,outside of Hatton,Oscar & Clottey,Cotto to an extent could have been better.

I can see where Zab would see that but that is something that is too hard to predict and stage. One punch in the right spot at the right time can knock anyone out.
Its like quite a few posters have said
                      Its perfect matchmaking for Pac.

Like Ive always said I want to see pac against a boxer not brawler or defensive minded fighter with speed and some power.
That will never happen cause when it does its lights out on the Pac show
