There is only about an inch between them I cant see it making to much difference anyway Alverez is going to win.

I just hope Rhodes gets the fight after and takes him apart.

This doesn't make sense to me.

In order to formally announce a fight, which they did months ago, a contract is almost always finalized before the announcement. The fighters need at least two months each to train, so the formal press conference has to be mininum 2 1/2 months - 3 months before the fight.

With that said, it was only 1-2 weeks ago that the WBC announced that this fight will be for their 154 belt. So, is this article saying that the WBC can "order" a change of the 150 lb. contracted weight limit? That doesn't make sense.

Also, consider a scenario that GBP pressures Matthew Hatton to make the change. That can't possibly happen; the fight is 5 days out. He can simply pull out and ruin their card. A last second replacement-- likely a journeyman-- would not be a suitable replacement.

he could just pull out, but when do u think he's gonna get a title shot again?

Probably the one and only time Matt will get the oppertunity, so he's in a position where he kinda has to take it

If the contract is signed for 150 and GBP and the WBC wanna change it to 154 less than a week before the fight than Hatton cann sue both their asses for breach of contract.
