The only problem now is Mosley has to win this fight or his career is done, Its win or retire for him now, Because if he loses Top rank are sure not going to give him any fight.

Shane made the right choice.

Let's say he gets destroyed by Manny (worse case scenario), he will have several good fights as Bob takes care of his fighters (e.g. Marg getting his promised shot at Manny).

If he loses bad to Manny he can take a comeback fight against Cintron or Clottey (both good fights) then later on face the Cotto vs Margarito winner.

I wouldn't be shocked if he ended up facing both Cotto and Margarito as both are good paydays as well as having a lot of significance behind them.

Then there is Pavlik at 160 (dark horse fight) and due to the King connection, K9 at 154.

Mosley has a ton of options even if he loses badly, which is why he made the right choice working with Top Rank.

If he stayed with GBP, I can't see any good fights for him. They dropped the ball with both him and Hopkins. Shane's stays with GBP the only thing I see them doing is getting him a fight with Maidana or someone like that.

Ok for arguement sake, Lets say he loses this fight, Who is going to promote his next fight? Mosley has never been a guy who can sell a fight on his own name alone and not especially after 2 loses and a draw if he loses to Pac, GBP made a lose in Mosley last fight with Mora, So unless Mosley takes peanuts in his comeback fight i doubt any promoter would want to see him.

Laughing at people who thinks Arum would give Mosley a fight if he loses here, He would get no fight with Arum, He already fought Margarito and cotto and if they make those fights again they would lose money, No TV would pick it up unless its not a PPV show.

GBP didn't do nothing for Shane. Yall keep saying he got a big fight with Floyd and that was years later. Real talk Oscar has been pen whipping him for years (ex. thousand dollar check to a partner). Shane finally caught on and handled his business on his own. I congrat the man for getting rid of GBP. look atthe long list of fighters taht got put in the ring with Floyd before Shane at 147. Oscar, Hatton, Oscar (didn't happen), rumors of 2nd Hatton fight, rumors of Alveraz fight, rumors of M Hatton fight, JMM, Pac (didn't happen, that 06-10 never throwing Shane in there. That same cycle was about to repeat with Pac. Get that 1 fight out of yall heads and look at the big picture.

Shane Mosley is a moron..

But he pulled a good move here.. This is easily the biggest money he will get. Fighting Cotto/Margarito again? average money especially after he got beat up by mayweather and drew with Mora (who just lost lol). Pacquiao brings the money and is far more open to being smashed then Mayweather OR Mora.. and if he does get hit by a monster right? will he be smart enough to hold or will he fight.. (knowing Pac i think fight).

If Pac manages to walk through bombs in this fight from Mosley people need to seriously consider he might be on something btw lol.. I don't think he is BUT if he did take a lot of flush shots from Shane and not be troubled i will be in shock..

Shane Mosley is a moron because he picked non lucrative and very hard fights stylewise vs Winky/Forrest after his wins vs De La Hoya.. Guy should have been a huge superstar.

Mosley was waiting around for Pacquiao or Mayweather that's why he was off for a year.

Looking at the business side Mosley deserved to get kicked out. GBP was going all in on trying to get Pacquiao/Marquez III going but Mosley went behind there backs and stole the fight from them.

I'm sure Mosley whored himself out for pennies just to get the fight and GBP was looking to hit gold with PPV and all the revenue Pacquiao/Marquez was going to bring in.

^^^^^^^This is how I'm seeing it. The entire time Shane was on the shelf, it wasn't like he wasnt getting offers for fights. He was basically turning down the offers he did get, cause they were not Pac or May. He even offered to fight Pac at 140. Shanes NEVER fought at 140, he completely skipped the division.

I do not doubt one bit that Shane did everything except sell his soul to the devil himself to get this fight.
