But the question is, assuming Berto beats Ortiz, will he be willing to step back in the ring with one of today's best fighters just 3 months afterwards? I expect Victor Ortiz to give him fits because he has decent speed, hits harder than Berto and can match his accuracy. He also has better footwork. So I don't think he'd fight him 3 months later. That's why I think Floyd should take a different tune up first, and then go after Berto in like October or December.

Floyd Sr mentioned Paul Spadafora a while ago so maybe its gonna be him. Who knows...

In all honesty I think Floyd will probably fight a white fighter as a tune up, maybe some tough guy from Europe. I'm not being racists but I think the European audience is one he would like to exploit.......or maybe Amir Khan after all!

Berto would take the Mayweather fight anyway it was given to him. No one turns down shots at Pacquiao or Mayweather, except of course Pacquiao or Mayweather.. It's instantly any fighter's best payday, and an opportunity that would not be passed up.

Ortiz has shown on several occasions, when the going gets tough.. Ortiz sort of just treds water(at best.) I give Berto the nod, and a decent chance in the Mayweather sweepstakes.. Fingers crossed, as it would definitely worth a watch.

Good point. Well then maybe Berto in July, Khan-Bradley winner in October/December and Manny in May 2012?

If Floyd is anything but buck ******ed,he fights K-9.Why not,the dude has a title at 154,that would make Floyd a 2 time champ there.

Probably...I mean he has to. He'd never be able to show his face to the public if he never fights Manny. S**t the public already looks at him as a coward right now lol just look at David Haye. He absolutely has to fight Wlad at this point or his career is a complete joke, and there aren't too many people out there who would be okay with their life being a joke. Its a pride thing.

If it doesn't, well...that's just ridiculous.
