we know. floyd doesnt fight guys coming off losses, thats pacs thing
That's the problem with some of the Floyd fans. For them a loss is more important than the opponent.
They would rather see Floyd have Hatton come up 1 division or Marquez 2 divisions than see Floyd fight someone who would make the odds less in favor of Floyd.
Fighting Paul Williams with a loss would mean so much more than a Marquez.
As for my thought on Floyd and his continuous tune ups:
I thought Floyd said he was the greatest?
Yet his last 3 fights he fought 2 guys (Marquez and Hatton) that had a total of 1 fight at WW and an opponent who really really needed a tune up being that he was almost 39 years old (Mosley) and hadn't fought in 16 months.
How many tune ups does he need in a row?
Hey if Sugar Ray Leonard can come back and fight Hagler after 3 years, then it should be a piece of cake for Floyd to do it since he calls himself the greatest. Right?
Besides, doesn't he just fight once per year, anyways? So this year it needs to be someone who has a shot at beating him or else, no can do Floyd.
He won't be fighting anyone nearly as dangerous as that if/when he decides to fight on.
I know he will not be fighting P. Williams. I was just responding to that idiotic comment made by a Floyd fan that said, Floyd doesn't fight guys that came off a loss.
if a boxer dont fight the champion you are not really a champion? because you fought in a VACANT title?
in other sports its accepted but not in boxing right? in boxing you have to fight the champion to be a legit champion? in superbowl if you dont play against the defending champion you mean its not legit? because you are playing against a non champion or non title holder? why boxing is different?
