Catchweights are fine AS LONG AS NO TITLE by a corrupt ABC body IS ON THE LINE. People in here know how I feel about Pac's bogus 154lb title.

I am not to judge at catchweights in nature because it's been there since time knew of Henry Armstrong.

If catchweights are the key to a CONTACTUAL agreement and both fighters say YES just for the fight to be made, then I got no qualms about it. I'll take any fight made and CW was needed, than being a girly biatch crying about it.

At one point, way back in the day, catchweights didn't seem like a bad idea to me either, but now, we know that certain fighters use them to weight drain their opponent and get an unfair advantage. This unfortunately is what the Team Pacquiao strategy is, they are the major culprit of weight draining tactics and I dont respect it.

Marquez was simply trying to hit pay dirt like Pac did with De La Hoya and was hoping he could weight drain Floyd. Afterall Floyd hadn't fought in a year, he is already rusty, why must you weight drain him to? In boxing its always easier to move up than it is to move down. Marquez and Pac claim to be P4P guys, well if thats the case, stop the weight draining bull****!!
