    Hearns doesn't have 'no chin'.

Hearns would outbox Margarito to death. And at the times that they would exchange Hearns would win most the exchanges.

Margarito has a great chin but he has never been hit by anyone who hits like Tommy Hearns.

1980 Hearns and 2008 Margarito are the same size. Hearns doesn't have the discipline to outbox a pressure fighter like Margarito. Margarito has KO power in both hands and would eventually get to that chin and it would be all over. Margarito is great finisher.

Personally Mosley. Out of all the boxers on the list I feel he has the best balance. The others fall short in either technique, power, speed or physique.

Mosley would have a good chance but Mosley was the type of guy who would get frustrated and forget his gameplan he didn't have the discipline to just keep coming forward like Trinidad or Margarito would.

I think Mosley does because of he's speed toghness and pressure plus he hadda good over hand right and good chin

Tommy Hearns has more than enough discipline to box the hell out of Margarito.

Margarito is not going to knock out Hearns in one punch its actually quite disrespectful to Hearns to say Margarito would beat him so easily.

none of the above would I favor over Hearns.

prime Mosley might have the best chance, since he had quite a good chin and could be surprising with his right hand/left hook.

even then I start thinking about how badly Forrest pacified Mosley, and what Hearns would have done....

maybe DLH had the best bet, since he was better defensively and had a difficult to predict left hook.
Trinidad had the best power of the listed, but honestly I see him hitting the deck early from a right hand and not recovering fast enough. hey, maybe Hearns would become over aggressive and Trinidad could get lucky at that point...?

no one is outboxing Hearns, and not even Mayorga nor Margarito had then chin to walk through a puncher like Hearns.

The only one id give any hope too is De la hoya, but he loses 9 times out of 10,Hearns at 147 was a different breed of fighter, its rare too see such a skilled boxer with such devastating power

                    Lets see now:

De La Hoya-Would actually do fairly well because of his jab and quick left hook hook but tended to fade.

Trinidad-Have a good chance i would bet because of his power and chin.

Mosley-Also would have a good chance because of his speed, power and chin.

Forrest-In my opinion, their styles would be terrible. Hearns would win in a boring match.

Cotto-Cotto is excellent against slick fighters but has trouble against guys who can walk him down. Hearns would win fairly easily imo.

Mayorga-Mayorga wouldn't do as bad as we think but Hearns prolly would beat him w/o difficulty.

Margarito-I think Mosley is the only one who could've ever possibly stopped Margarito(except for anyone else who did, i don't remember). Hearns wails on him all night.

Mayweather-Mayweather's style is taylor made for the hitman. Leonard had more trouble against Hearns than any other fighter both fights.

Pacquiao-Pacquiao likes tall rangy guys as he could get inside Hearn's reach since Hearn's footwork isn't the best. It depends, if Pacquaio can avoid getting hit by the Lightning Right and can get inside with his bursts, its a 50-50 fight imo, but if Hearns can prevent Pacquiao from bursting in, Hearns would win 8 rounds to 4 imo.

Williams-Weird fight, It might be competitive for a few rounds but Hearns has too much power against Williams.

How does the fact Leonard struggled with Hearns mean Floyd's style is tailor made for Hearns? Leonard and Floyd fight literally nothing alike.

I agree though, Floyd gets beaten by Hearns 10 times out of 10.

How many tall rangy fighters has Pacqiauo fought? Not that many. I can't understand where this idea he's good against tall rangy fighters has come from Pacqiauo has never fought anyone as big, strong, skilled, powerful, or even fast as Tommy Hearns at WW, it would also be THE only ATG WW he has ever fought.

Pacqiauo has no chance against Tommy Hearns. One of the least on that list.
