Easy fight for JMM if he doesn't stand and trade with Rios.

No he isn't.Marquez is not quick on his feet.He gets hit a lot & Rios gets stronger as the fight continues.Plus he's wayyy younger & Marquez has been through many, many wars.

I think Marquez would pick Rios apart. But I doub't Rios' camp would want this fight now.

I don't think JMM has faced anyone with the size of Rios. Mayweather looked large against JMM and I believe BAM BAM has got height and in ring weight over Money. In any case I think it would be a hell of a war, and I hope we get to see this. JMM sublime skills @ 135 vs BAM BAM's relentless stalker power punching mad man... Classic

Depends JMM is getting pretty long in the tooth and who knows when that catches up with him. Against a guy like Rios who is determined that could easily be the case.

A young fresh JMM no way but an older JMM it is a distinct possibility he can get had that way.

I agree, as long as Marquez doesn't get old overnight. Rios would be going up against someone with just as much heart and determination as himself, but more skill. And just like Rios, Marquez gets better as the fight wears on. The ref would probably step in after 9 or 10 rounds after Rios absorbs too much punishment and shows more heart than his health can handle.

Remember, Marquez is an amazing boxer. His skill and power makes up for his aging legs.

it would be Diaz/Katsidis vs Jmm all over again, JMM will pick him apart and counter him with beautiful combos, JMM>Chicanos anyday. Rios is good i give him credit but even an old Jmm can still beat him.

Sure is. JMM is the best of the best at LW. He wont have to counter punch because Rios walks in without throwing. It will be target practice for 7-8 rounds. Now late Marquez cant try to be too brave. Its too much experience for Brandon right now.
