Hes trying to cash out one last time. He hasn't had a big payday in years. Maidana is coming off the fight of the year so hopefully Morales will earn enough money he doesn't have to take anymore fights he knows he can't win.

If he wins that would be one of the greatest upsets in boxing history.

surely there are easier (and less painful) paydays to be made . He must see something in Maidana's style he thinks he can exploit . Best of luck to erik , you can't doubt his guts.

I don't know if he can or not but I don't think this is a terrible risk for him. If he wins El Terrible is back and on his way and if he loses no one expected much from him.

Maidana isn't a terrible match-up for him especially if Morales can take his power.
