How can anybody call that a robbery?
I understand if some people thought Hopkins won by a point or two, but a robbery? come on. How can anyone be pissed they scored it for Calzaghe, He clearly made Hop tired and stayed on the aggresive. It was a very close fight that could have gone either way. I had it 115 -112 for Calzaghe

I agree. I haven't watched the fight again - and didn't score it the first time - but I walked away from the set with the impression that Calzaghe was the winner that night.

Don't talk **** I can't imagine people in Europe being hostile towards Americans for no reason if you were here, only the crazy ones who are hostile to everybody anyway, other than that I think you have a bit of an overactive imagination. This is the internet and this forum is a bit of a troll fest to be honest, there are plenty of Americans who will insult Europeans and vice versa, plenty of Puerto Ricans going at Mexicans etc.

Mainly it's due to the fact that the anonymity of the internet makes people act like *******s, take your post for example, you are saying what you would like to do to these imaginary people who threatened you and yet you are posting on an internet forum so it really means nothing, you are effectively talking **** in a safe place like those people you are whinging about. I had the exact same score when I watched a vid of it for the 1st time 2 years after it took place, ppl are crazy calling that a robbery.

If the punches Calzaghe threw didn't hit anything, what made Hopkins tired?
It isn't the simple fact that Hopkins got tired that lost him important rounds, it's the fact that his being tired drove down his workrate and activity and he could not keep up with Calzaghe's.

Some people just blindly follow Hopkins, despite the fact that he's boring as hell and that his style partially revolves around cheating. Buying into a robbery cry is not that far off.

Some people just don't like European fighters, or Joe Calzaghe.

I wouldn't go around calling B-hop boring, considering the fact that Joe fights like a ***** fighting his way out of spider-webs.

I had Hopkins winning, scored a knockdown, kept landing the cleaner more effective punches.

whoa easy there dude - don't classify a nation of 300 million people into the ethnocentric american stereotype. I had it Calzaghe 116-111. Hopkins definitely stung Calzaghe with some shots, but Calzaghe made Hopkins look foolish for the most part by getting in and out and out speeding, and out thinking him.
