Viloria hasn't done anything to earn a title shot at 112.

To tell the truth, Julio César Miranda never did either. In fact, the opponent who he beat to win the belt, Richie Mepranum did not do enough to deserve the title shot either. The champion was Omar Andrés Narváez, who vacated the title. Julio César Miranda is actually a C class fighter who happens to be a champion. Brian Viloria is probably shot. Should be even fight.

Fair enough, but it still doesn't make it right.

Mepranum did more than Viloria and arguably Miranda. Mepranum at least beat two decent fighters in Marquez and Fuentes.

I read from one article that Richie will have a shot again in Miranda's title.
