He should fight the winner of the Vazquez-Zappavigna.

Ether guy is a tough fight.

I see people bashing Rios for calling out Barrera, but people won't bring up the fact that JMM hasn't mentioned Rios' name and that's the only fight in this division that makes any sense. Soto is a glorified gate keeper at this point and Rios would kill him.

And I'll tell you guys something else. What a bitch move on JMM's part if Barrera ends up fighting Rios while Morales is fighting Maidana at the same time. Really starting to turn my back on him as a fan because of all this.

at least there's not much size difference and barrera is not as shot.
I think Brandon Rios can build his name by fighting John Murray.

How is this a ***** move by JMM? Barrera is lucky to even get a shot at a "title", and Morales has no business with Maidana in the ring! All of these guys are fighting to be contenders to JMM's title. At this point there are no lightweights who have earned that shot. You don't earn a fight with the "lineal" champ by beating the Acostas, and washed up fighters.

tbf to jmm..... he's angling for a pac fight.

                  i can't blame him.

once he can work something out with arum , he'll get his money fight.

                  i hope he does tbh.

not that pac-jmm 3 is great (at this point) but afterwards , we can see rios-jmm , soto-jmm , antillon-jmm.

                  some solid fights.

Soto already ducked Rios once and has a fight scheduled on May 7th, which is over two months away. If he can get a Barrera fight to happen in 3 months then that would occur around June which then would be the perfect time to fight the winner of Antillion vs. Soto. After such a rough fight, a fight with Barrera would be acceptable as long as his next fight is against a tough opponent. Plus, I think JMM is dead set on pursuing a third fight with Pacquiao, so he wouldn't jeapordize that opportunity against a tough outing like Rios (JMM would probably win however he would have to take some big shots to get it done)...
