I know it was a TKO but Acosta wasn't going to get up from those last shots. I thought Rios was done after the first four rounds, but he showed a lot of heart and will.

Great fight the cut really bothered acosta but he stood in there like a warrior and fought till his body gave up

Are they blood cousins? I thought they were in-laws. Where one married the others blood cousin. I don't know if they will be against in fighting each other. I haven't heard anything. And, Demarco is the mandatory for Soto title now I think.

That was a pretty good fight!!! props to both fighters!!! I kind of know Brandon will win...cause he is too big for this weight class...not to minimize what he did, but he's not a 135er...he out weighted Acosta by 15 lbs easy...but he did what he needed to do...i was impress that Acosta did hurt him in the 4th rnd I think!!!
But it was a fun fight to watch....Acosta's corner did a great job jumping into the corner to stop the fight!!!

It's good for boxing when fights like this happen!!!

Brandon Rios is a beast!!! Brandon has NO defense & is easy to hit & just keeps on coming forward, but his best defense is his offense which is coming forward taking shots but also giving shots & those shots are hard!!! Rios gives them as he takes them!!! Showed 1 hell of a chin!!!(But in the future he should work on some sort of defense) Gotta give props to Acosta who showed heart & determination but Rios was just to much & took EVERYTHING Acosta hit him with, especially in the 4th when Rios overcame adversity... From the beginning Rios was hitting Acosta to the body & head & at the end it paid off.. Acosta had NO legs & his punches didn't have the snap after the 8th round.. After watching the 9th round I had a feeling Acosta wasn't going to make it past the 10th, & almost did, until Rios caught him in the corner with those devastating right hand punches to the side of the head & Acosta was OUT!!!!.. GREAT FIGHT & VERY GOOD victory for Rios!! Acosta ain't NO CHUMP & Rios laid him OUT!!

Fight of the year as of now, hell of a fight, Acosta was outboxing Rios, but Rios was relentless ate them shots kept coming and wore him down. Gonna be a force at Lightweight

that was the key to the fight..that he took acostas shots and man did acosta hurt him,rios admitted to that,he took big shots and just kept coming back and hurt acosta,it doesn't matter that acosta is a good boxer if he couldn't handle brandon's punches and he couldn't because thats what he said at the end of fight at the interview,he said that first knockdown hurt him and he never recovered from it,rios is heavy handed,he will get hit but the oppenents he will face better be able to take his punches well or they will end up like acosta did and acosta's face looked worse than brandon's too....good win for rios,let's see whats next,him and soto will be a war,we already saw brandon beat a boxer with power tonight,i think he'll give anybody a tough fight
