This is why Mexicans are often in a FOY candidate. Heart and more heart. Rios didnīt care how many punches he was receiving, he was just going forward like a real macho. Acosta was a bit coward, the usual " slick boxing" , which means hugging and running for long periods of time and robbing the fansīmoney. Just like Mayweather.

yep,this fight was exciting because of rios,not acosta,acosta just ran and hugged,when rios' shots slowed him down he had no choice but to stand and defend himself,sort of like calderon against segura,those two made the fight interesting

I'll probably get either red Kd or flamed by some Brits for saying this, but I think Rios would just absolutely stomp a mud hole in Khan's ass due to the styles. I think Rios might even be capable of beating everybody at 140. I was a little bit reserved on my judgement about him even though I already knew he was a good fighter. I just didn't form the kind of opinion about him being elite based on his win over Peterson because I don't really have a high opinion of Peterson. But this win over Acosta proves he's legit.

I disagree. The guy is a huge 135lber and he fights 1 way. Khan the con hits a lot harder than acosta too. The further he moves, the less his power and chin will be rated. This guy is far from "elite". A good strong fighter but "elite", nope.
