The truth is JMM won't fight Rios, he'll get nothing by fighting Rios.

I agree Rios is one tough mofo and his chin is incredible. But you need a little more than that against the master.
Three years ago JMM lights up Rios but I just cant see the Marquez that beat Katsidis going the distance.

Listen,I love Marquez,he's a world class fighter, but Rios is too big & too young for Marquez right now.Marquez is too old & has been through too much wars.if they fight,it'll be Marquez passing the torch.Rios stops him.

if they fight before the end of the year, JMM wins... Marquez is just too clever and experience to let Rios to keep coming at him hitting him with clean shots. last night was a great win my Brandon, but let's not get carried away and forget what JMM has been doing for the last decade.

Rios will have a good shot at JMM, since we all know that JMM has lapses during his fights... you just have to try and put him away when you do..

Too early its a mismatch right now. Lets see what Marquez has left, the Marquez that fought Katsidis ruins Rios(doesn't KO him but gives him a 12 round beating). Rios needs about 2 more legit opponents then this would be a great fight if Marquez still has his current form

I know that Rios is young, that he is a very exciting fighter, but his defense is not exactly a very good one, he should work on it if he wants to have a chance.

JMM would have trouble early, but i just don't see he losing. His counter punching skills are way better than Acosta's and hell, he got power. Rios would eat at least 30 clean counter punches per round, no way he would survive. Acosta did the job but couldn't finish, JMM would never let Rios survive after hurting him.

Respect the master, JMM by KO.

JMM would counter the heck out of Rios until he dropped to his knees and cried in a fit of futility as his cut eyebrows leaked blood onto the canvas.

This is why in my opinion Rios will win.Marquez does have problems early, but unlike Marquez's other opponents,Rios gets stronger as the fight continues,he's just too young, too big & his chin is iron,Marquez's problems with him won't get better, they'll get worse.

I agree.....wish Diaz would go ahead & take that WBA belt away from Rios
