Would be interesting to see a Brandon Rios- Juan Diaz fight due to the similar styles both Rios and Diaz are come foward fighters Rios has a good chin and Diaz doesn't have to worry about Rios giving him much movement. Diaz has problems with movement And couldn't follow JMM ,Paulie M, or Nate Campbell. If Rios-Diaz were to fight I think it would be a bloody battle for 12 rounds no backing up.

It's not just the power (which Marquez definitely has), it's the accuracy and the fact that you're getting hit with bunches of three and four hard, flush shots. There's not a lightweight out there good enough to go the distance with Marquez right now, especially not if he takes the fight to him like Rios will.

Rios has too much stamina and too good of a chin, he'd wear JMM down with his combinations and body punching. If anyone is comparing how this fight would go to how the fight with Katsidis went then they're crazy, Rios has a better chin, more power, and better stamina than Katsidis. It's not just the power (which Marquez definitely has), it's the accuracy and the fact that you're getting hit with bunches of three and four hard, flush shots. But seeing how effectively Acosta counter punched Rios assures me that Marquez would have a field day with Rios and would bust him up pretty badly with the accurate counter punches.
