My take on Margarito-Cotto after re-watching it...

Yes you did. But honestly, i think Pacquiao beat Marg with the gameplan that was working for Cotto for the first half of the fight, which was stick and move. Problem was Cotto didn't have the stamina to keep it up for 12 rounds.

Funny, they both kind of laid out the blueprint on how to beat each other in that fight, only Marg was able to execute better.

margarito cheated imo. i dont feel like writing a novel myself on why i think that but if u ask me, he did cotto dirty. you dont go from superman to a piece garbage the way margarito did. he looked so powerful and undestrucable vs cotto and then gets exposed b4 the mosley fight and looks like a weak bum that lost every round in route to getting knocked the **** out.

Manny instead of going to the ropes, most of the time he would circle margarito but constantly countering Margarito.

How can you say that the plaster wouldn't make a difference? If Margarito had that in his gloves then every punch he threw from Round 1 on would be hurting Cotto more than normal.

from day one I had Marg winning this fight by BRUTAL KO....with that said, I remember watching a GYGB video on youtube some time before the fight....the GYGB dudes were making their predictions and I remember the bull Coultrane saying.....give Cotto the first 6 rounds right now!!!....he said he was going to give the first 6 rounds on his card to Cotto from the door....from round 7 on was gonna be Marg's....and Cotto would be stopped late.....how come I remember that?!?...I've NEVER won so much money betting on a fight than I did on that Cotto-Marg fight....came up something nice

as for the ACTUAL scrap itself....I agree with TS....Cotto fought the ABSOLUTE wrong fight....I've since become a fan of the warrior that be Miguel Cotto.....as for the plaster, c'mon man.....LOGICAL thinking says he used it against Cotto.....nuff said.....I been let that go
