I agree with the Sacramentan......I think winning against Montiel just validates Donaire his "early" high rankings he was given in the P4P lists months ago. He was at number 4/5 and should have just stayed 4/5.

Ok how bout this. Who the **** Martinez beat outside of Paul Williams and Pavlik.

Seriously Montiel and Vic Darchinyan are both better than them two but yet somehow martinez is the one who gets disrespected. Dude Resume is nothing great outside of those two. Donaire has more quality win and has been dominating everybody. Imagine being a pacquaio fan and people saying Martinez should be p4p number 1 even though his resume is nowhere near as great as pacquaio at all. Now the questions should be why the **** floyd is still number 2 fighting nobody.

Also add the fact that Martinez lost to paul williams in the first fight.(even though it was very close). That is why donaire is ahead of martinez because donaire hasn't lost since his 2nd bout while Martinez lost last year against paul williams.

2 fights that Martinez didnt even win add to his stock and puts his resume infront of Donaires! LMAO at Montiel being better than Williams. Pavlik and Darchinyan are the same to me except that Pavlik had 4 inches and 12lbs on Martinez.

Like I said the 1-1 still adds to his stock. Martinez fought 4 tough fights against top boxers and never looked bad doing it. On the other hand Donaire had good little breaks after Vic against the Manuel Vargas's of the world.
