we're talking about who has the best uppercut currently in the game.

jmm is up there, but i don't see how this is disputable....

    best punch is
    1) accurate
    2) powerful-takes your opponent out (the whole point of a money punch, if its not taking people out its not the best in ALL OF BOXING)
    3) quick
    4) disruptive
    5) hard to defend
    6) timely

Currently no one in the game has a money puch uppercut, there are good ones but really none that really stand out.

and as far as th bold goes, i never shi tted on floyd's uppercut. but to be the single best in the game, you better be taking fools out with it.

you're obviously sensitive about floyd. i never said anything bad about his uppercut but it ain't THE BEST. if it was, people would be getting put to sleep by it.
Well like I said I don't necessarily base my opinion on punching power, floyd doesn't take many fighters out with any of his single punches. I base my opinion on the fact that floyd lands his with better timing and accuracy than anyone else, he uses it at the right times. Bute's placement and accuracy is great but he is fighting edison miranda and librado andrade 2 fighters who if you said they weren't the hardest to hit would be the understatement of the century. Floyd fights and has landed that punch effectively at a much higher level, when you throw an uppercut it normally leaves you more open than any other punch you can throw as a rule of thumb I have only ever seen floyd get countered once when throwing it against chop chop corley . Thus why I pick his, agree to disagree.

zab judah's upper was damn near money. bertos is pretty money and bute. its hard for me to judge those two until i see it against a quality opponent. but yea rite now those two take it imo.

and floyd is the best bodypuncher in boxing imo too. used to be cotto, but i havent seen that side of his game in a minute.

                  Is Floyds bodypunching underrated? Yes.

Is it the best in boxing? Absolutely not.

who's is better?? i kno a lot of good body punchers but the way floyd disects his opponenets from the body unnoticablly, the way he kills them on the inside is unparalleled. if ur talking about one punch body punchers, then there are a few. but how many top notch opponents have they taken apart from the body? floyd does it to anyone and everyone.

look, i don't know what's so hard for people to understand. to have the best of any punch in the game, you gotta be killing fools with it and it really has to stand out.

lots of guys have good to great uppercuts right now, but who is consistently ko's fools and hurting them with uppercuts to the body and head?
