Setanta don't exist now. Sky bankroll Haye and if they pull the plug, he has nowhere else to turn to. I agree with the rest of your post though.

Oh yes I know, I was saying Hayemaker's partnership with Sky is fairy new and they won't walk out on David as long as he's an attraction, but they can cut into his money by forcing him to work with Warren on the undercard.

Dan Rafael has posted about it again I see:

The fact is they are talking again for July 2 and Wlad would still fight Chisora. Nothing done.
We'll probably know more in the morning.

Haye isn't fighting Wlad. We'll hear about him fighting RJJ soon enough.

Stop trying to make silly jokes. Haye himself supplies all the "joke" power we'll need for the next 5 years, If anyone will remember him for that long.

If Haye actually goes into the ring which is also occupied by either Klitschko, he certainly WILL do what he's capable of.........

But who will have the dirty job of mopping it up????

If Wlad beats Chisora, Haye and Adamek this year, he better at least get mentioned for FOTY. I dont care what you think about the HW division, thats about as impressive as you get 14-0 british champ, 43-1 cruiser/lhw champ undefeated hw adamek, 25-1 WBA champ former cruiser champ Haye. A combined 82-2 record. I would have Wlad favored by a large amount to win all 3. If Wlad did this, and Vitali got Solis,Povetkin and Valuev...itd be game over at HW, Klitschko's win. There literally would be no point in continuing fighting, the division would be cleared for at least the next 3-4 years and by then even Wlad will most likely be hanging up the gloves. 2011 might be the year they rename the Heavyweight division to the Klitschko Division.

I don't think Haye vs. anyone other than a Klitschko will sell a lot of PPVs any more, after the Harrison debacle. Even the ridiculously loyal British public are starting to lose patience with Haye not fighting the Klitschkos (even if many of them are still trying to blame the Klitschkos for that, rather ridiculously). And I think Sky may well have panicked and decided that if Haye doesn't take the fight now, then there is a real risk that the biggest PPV fight in their history might never happen.

That said, I think Wlad will have to offer Haye something so that Haye doesn't completely lose face. I wonder if he will agree to fight him in the UK?
