Well, from what my pops told me, the big time trainers usually come in with about 2 weeks of camp left to kind of touch up on everything (well other trainers doing the majority of the work). That maybe what he is saying. My dad told me when I was younger that Manny Steward didn't used to train all of the Kronk fighters throughout their whole camp. My godfather was the WBC champ at 147 back in the 80s and my dad used to train with him at his camp at Kronk Gym. Again, this may be what he is trying to say, but who knows.
