No your post is disrespectful, you claim that so many people died for the right to freely express themselves no? Aren't you going against their intents by suggesting that those who do not think like you should GTFO of your country. Your mindsets spits on their actions more than someone repping a different flag every could.

It isn't disrespectful, showing your love for your culture and country does not equal putting another country down. Further more you were initially complaining about Donaire being associated with his mother country which is completely different to someone having a flag hung up for the world to see. One is essentially a belief ( which people are entitled to) the other is an expression ( which people are also entitled to).

no man, im not saying everybody needs to believe how i believe and being an american means having freedoms that entitle you to do the things i am talking of... i am not saying it is wrong to be proud of your motherland and where you are from, i stated that in both of my messages or at least one if you will read it... you are right, people do have the freedom to express that if they want to, all i am saying is it is disrespectful to flaunt another countries flag in another country... to me it is just an unwritten law.. sorry, thats just howi believe... it would be disrespectful of me to flaunt an american flag in mexico i think,, thats just what i belive.. you are living in america for a reason, if you are so proud of your country why did you come to america? you know? i know most people come for better opportunites etc, but at least be proud to be an america too, thats all im saying...

Media in the Philippines is not controlled by some giant entity. Believe it or not it's nothing different from the British media. One ****** publication may set the tone and the rest would follow. I personally don't read them.

This ts need to travel to that country so he can see for himself. People there hardly talk about boxing just like in any part of the world. Donaire and Pacquiao can be in any country and Donaire would be perceived as the same prodigal son who made a big deal of something trivial out of his father when he could have settled it early on. Pacquiao's father is not the kind of father you would want as a kid, yet Manny never made anything of it. Go figure.

But I could agree with you, about the Philippine media, that is.

Are people still burning crosses near your town?

I don't know anything about the pinoy media, what I do know is that Donaire has some sorry fans. Go around this forum and you'll see a bunch of pinoys bad mouthing him, he makes up with his dad and he's the greatest thing since slice bread, now they're back attacking him as if he's a murderer because he wants to make more money.
