Hamed is the reason why the featherweight division, Barrera, JMM, Morales, and Pac was noticed and cheered for.

who cares what you think, it was a great ass whooping to watch, and sent hamed into retirement, THE ONLY IMPORTANT THING ABOUT THE FIGHT........

besides, how do you not like the half nelson, ramming hamed's head into the ring post, for all the cheap shots hamed was taking during the fight, barrera showed hamed how real rough housing is............

Hamed actually beat a lot of good fighters prior to fighting Barrera, contrary to popular belief on this forum.

Hamed had quite a punch, and Barerra neutralized him like no one had before. The bit where he slipped a flying punch and bashed Hamed's head on the ringpost was classic.

Edit: He also rapid fired the jab against Hamed in a circular pattern.. as Hamed had been known to do in previous fights when he was show boating. Barerra basically took everything about Hamed and used it against him.

Hamed was hated,shouldn't be overrated.But he just ran smack dab into a locomotive called Barrera.If U keep fighting the best,1 of em is gonna get U.
