Calzaghe himself said later that it wasn;t the easiest of his fights since Hopkins was "awquard" to fight and look good doing it.Comment

I think Hopkins must have by far the worst championship resume of ALL champions, until Felix Trinidad.Comment

but if you want it, hopkins ducked calzaghe, ducked toney back in the day too, obviously ducked jones at lightheavy, he was deadly afraid of moving up without his opponent having to lose some weight to weaken them, ducking chad dawson like the plague, now it easy to discredit chad cuz he lost to pascal, brings no money no nuthin huh? yet bhop yaps on about how he wants to be remembered, and fights ornelas
i understand tho, high risk, low reward
also have you looked at hopkins vs decent fighters his size?
all smaller, he lost to taylor, lost to jones, lost to calzaghe
im glad he has that tarver win but too bad not everyone ages like he does
tarver comes down from 200 pounds and he finally beats a decent fighter his own sizeComment

Every time I think "Hopkins" I also think "Morade Hakaar" "Wendell Hall", "Melvin Wynn" and many other deserving "championship" opponents. Like the 3 fights against Robert Allen, a guy he easily beat, and KNEW he could beat easily. I think until the Trinidad fight the best guy he fought was Holmes.
