Sure, why not. But I think Ortiz will be wearing the belt at the end of this matchup. This is make or break time for Victor. & if he does come away with the victory, man what a turnaround for him. That motivating factor right there & this golden opportunity are the main reasons I think we are gonna hear the words ''and new'' at the end of that fight.

      doubt it...

gbp are horrible matchmakers. IMHO ortiz was supposed to be gbp's new cash cow, but that role has now passed to the ginger kid.

imho, they are cashing out with ortiz... ortiz no longer has an upside.

I hope ortiz beats the ***** outta berto for cherrypicking jr WWs, but ortiz's talent can't over come the quitter in him.

If that's the case, I hope Ortiz proves them wrong... Then leaves to Top Rank when his contract is done, lol.

having said that, clottey, mosley and margarito resumes blow berto's out of the water and it isn't even close.
What Clottey resume? What wins of his blow Berto's outta the water?

Margarito post Mosley wraps gets DOMINATED by Berto. He's no better than a C-list fighter, like Abregu or something.

Mosley does have a better resume (He's supposed to being over a decade older), but I doubt the Mosley Pac beats will be a better fighter than Berto is right now.

Marga's that fought Pac stops Berto..It's not about the wins it's the fact that they fought the fights and have some wins against good opponents..Berto has neither..

Why wouldn't I give Berto credit, Ortiz is a world class fighter and has weighed in on FN at times for 140lb fights more than Berto has weighed for 147lb fights.

So... it's not about how good someone actually is when you fight them, it's about how good they used to be when they were cheating with loaded gloves years ago? I don't know what makes less sense, ^ this, or your earlier statement saying Pac vs Diaz is better than Pac vs Berto. Not trying to be mean, just keeping it real.

Gotta admit, that's surprising coming from you.

I never said better just said Diaz was proven at the weight and Berto is yet to prove anything at WW,so the fight makes more sense..Margs looked out match vs a much better fighter in Pac,Berto is no Pac Marga's would walk threw Berto imo..Not to mention Berto's stamina problem, one things for certain Marga's stamina is great..
