If you look at one-punch knockouts, you'll find the left hook being more frequent than any other punch.

    This, naturally, doesn't include southpaws.
What do you think is a better kill punch for a southpaw fighter between the str8 left and right hook?

Conventional wisdom always states that the str8 left is the southpaw's main punch, but the southpaw right hook comes at a real awkward angle.

No it depends on the fighter and how the punch lands. Also Pac/Hatton and Sergio/Williams didn't land left hooks on their opponents.

One of the most disgusting KOs I've seen and it wasn't a left hook.

I don't see too many guys KOing guys with mean uppercuts anymore. I remember when Mike's was the most lethal punch in the game.

upper can be a great ko punch.

You can't roll your head with it like you can the other punches.

there's no such thing as the most dangerous punch. it really depends on the fighter.

I would say the right hook because of the angle. Same as with the orthodox angle and the left hook. If you're a really devastating puncher you can **** someone up with any punch, but in general, it's just more likely that a blind shot should be a hook.

It would be damn near impossible to get all the KOs that ever took place.

But I did try to make a compilation awhile back on one-punch KOs and the left hook clearly was the most frequent punch that showed up. I would say that this is the case in general for one-shot KOs.

Yeah, I think that's what I meant by "most dangerous"...which had the highest KO percentage. I thought it was just me because it does seem like its the most successful.

Pac's KO of Hatton and Martinez's of Williams were not left hooks. Don't understand where you're getting that from.
