Um,is Froch from Britain, because if I had to put my money on either in a fight,I'd trust my chabo on Froch, quicker than Khan, just saying.
Bradley V Khan is the most important fight for Britain....

I gotta agree with the TS on this. Sure theres fights coming in the future but this one has a LOT riding on it. Its gonna be a high pressure fight for Khan. He'll be havong the weight of the nation on his shoulders but the reason Bradley isn't that big is because his ability and rep are nowhere near Mayweather's when he fought Hatton.
In fact I'd say Khan has a bigger rep. Much of thew boxing community are looking on him to win. Not just UK vs America but youth vs experience is the overarching factor.
Then again its not as big as Klitschko Lewis was, speaking purely hype wise, but its just as important in fact moreso as Khan has to continue his career after this.
I can see a UD as long as Khan doesn't get complacent. We'll see what his mindset is like in the McCloskey fight.
He's defended that belt with 100% every time he's stepped in the ring so far.
Then again so has Bradley. Can't wait.Comment

if bradley wins it will be a big blow to british boxing....
most of the british fans are LOOKING for amir to win this fight. (even many americans)
if bradley ko's amir or pressures him out of a 12 round decision thats pretty much it.
it's a thing where bradley isn't suppose to win....this is suppose to be britians day.
but if bradley wins it will be a big blow to british boxing.

hatton/wifebeater was more important.
haye/klitchko would be more important.

It will never generate the mainstream interest that Hatton-Mayweather did; I doubt it will even top Haye-Valuev as an event.
Not sure whether people take Khan more or less seriously than Hatton—I think it's becoming evident now that he deserves to be, but people really did buy into Ricky Hatton after the Tszyu win as well.Comment

Yep. I say if its big for boxing then its definitely big for the UK. I had a thread talking about how big it was for 140. Brits please dont take it the wrong way. I think the whole weight division is better at the moment with Khan on top as the trophy boxer. If he loses then 140 becomes insignificant because they all will migrate to 147 and we'll have to wait on the next crop of JWW's to gain some momentum. The UK alone would have to wait on Brook and a couple others to re establish their place in the lower weight divisions.Comment
