Roy Jones and Lennox Lewis are both fighters, and I don't care for them as commentators. Max is much better at what he does.

Lennox, I hear that; he's just phoning it in and picking up a cheque with a vacant smile on his face.

But you're nuts if you'd take Kellerman over Roy; even allowing for any shortcomings Roy may have, he's still quantum-leaps better an analyst than Kellerman.



Hearing Kellerman trying to talk down Steward like he's some final authority (during round 1 of Pacquiao-Margarito, among other incidents) makes me puke.

The guy's a complete joke.

Margarito and Rios are not A level fighters. Not anymore in Margs case. I'm sure the way Max said it just rubbed him the wrong way, got to remember Garcia is from the streeettttsss, Max.

Margarito after the Mosley thrashing isn't an A Level fighter. Rios hasn't proven to be an A Level fighter and Mikey hasn't either.

I think Robert Garcia took that as a shot from Kellerman. I don't know if Rios is an A level fighter and Margarito isn't anymore but why would Kellerman be a **** and say that. He did it just to be a prick...

mikey is still green, margarito hasnt been A-level since 2007 and rios is a loss waiting to happen

Max Kellerman was right about what he said. The only problem is that it was a little tactless for an anchorman with HBo to be throwing something like that. But in all honesty, it is true. I look at Margarito as a B+ fighter. Brandos Rios is a B- fighter. To be an A fighter, one must have both speed, power, and ability to shock the audience. Neither one of Garcia's fighters have these attributes. Donaire is his only A fighter. In fairness to Garcia, all other trainers, Roach included does not have more than one A fighter. Amir Khan is just a B+. Roach only has Pacquiao as an A. Roger has Floyd. Garcia has Donaire, Beristein has Marquez, Steward has Klitschko
