i dunno how u call a 24 yo fighter with multiple world championships protected. but if u call him protected...where was donaire at this point in his career??? i really think a lot of u guys didnt follow his career. he is essentially aan americaqn boxer and he rarely fights outside of the us and he has at least 4 yrs on koki.

the point is, u cant tell me koki is protected and yea he has been criticized in japan, but thats for a number of things and overall his perception in japan is definitely on the upturn.

and once again, hes 24 yrs old!

protected in what way? In what sense are they protected?

              All Japs fighters? No...

              Kameda brothers? How so?

Tomoki has fought the majority of his fights in Mexico and is a prospect.

Koki is a 2 division title holder with only 24yrs old and 25 fights (3 divisions if you count his WBA bantamweight title) in just his 9th pro fight fought a Arambulet(not bad for just 9 fights) in his 12th and 13 pro fights he fought Landeata(sp?) in a title winning effort. Then moved up and fought Naito and Wonjongkam back-to-back. And, now is competing in the best division in boxing.

Daiki since winning the title 2 of his 4 title defenses has been against Kaovichit and Sakata, 2 solid fighters. He has also had fought Naito and has another fight with Kaovichit. And, just 21 fights.

So I wish you could elaborate more in what way are Japanese or the Kameda brothers are protected fighters?

And, if other Japanese fighters, who exactly are being protected? Hasegawa is/was not protected. What about Kazuto Ioka? He just beat a good fighter in Oleydong in just his 7th pro fight to win the WBC title at 105, Nishioka? Ao? Maybe...But, they have fought a couple solid fighters as well. The only one that probably fits more the protected fighter is Uchiyama.

I mean are all these fighters, the type to take on all comers. And, just fight anybody anywhere? No, they're not. But, are the protected? I don't think so.

But, in what way do you mean protected?

And, you have to remember the JBC doesn't recognize the IBF nor the WBO. Only the WBC and WBA. So some fights are damn near impossible to make against an IBF or WBO title holder because of JBC not recognizing them. Sometimes exception happen like Hasegawa-Montiel. But, it's very rare.

Bah.... Manny beat the great Barrera(29yrs old) at 24yrs of age I don't see why people think the Jap is too green for Nonito(28yrs old).

Damn if this fight happens in Japan I would like to go there to watch it live. I most likely will not be able to. But this fight sounds interesting because Kameda is so big in Japan. This would be a really good fight for Asian boxing fans and boxing fans in general.

yea, manny manny is quite...different. him n guys like floyd and roy needed no pampering early in their careers. but that doesnt mean every fighter can do it.

and i dont think koki is too green. what i do think is hes too green at 118. and i dont see him beating nonito anyways, but i wanna see the fight i think itd be an event, esp in japan.

Too Green for 118, what about Nonito fighting Montiel? Nonito had only one fight at 118 prior to Montiel. I don't see why a fight bet. them shouldn't happen now. Money wise this fight is bigger than Mares or Agbeko IMO.
