the point is seeing him train does not make u an expert on him. the kid has substance, much more than any pinoy fighter not named pac or donaire, thats for sure.

Are you the official Koki Kameda expert around here? These 2 Pinoys were up close and personal, and they were basing it on what they saw with their own two eyes, NOT on youtube or some ****ty streaming. You're trying to shut them down because you've been watching Komeda fights in the comforts of your couch?

im not trying to shut them down from anything. i never once said i believe kameda beats donaire. but to act as if the dude is a trash fighter makes no sense to me. i dunno if they kno him or not, am i supposed to believe them?? Philippines may not be that big but thats like me saying i kno joshua clottey's **** because he goes to the same gym as me(which he does when hes in the bronx). i dont just shout out the info because even in the gym seeing the dude work out, u dont get no insight on how he performs in the ring. u get that by watching his fights. and thats something i do. **** act like the kid (hes the same age as me) isnt a world champion at a young age.

Point taken, but I'm sure since they're based in Japan, they've been fed tons and tons of fights of the Kameda bros., they might be right too you know. The least you could do is to give them the benefit of the doubt, or grill them further by asking questions that can tell you how deep or shallow their boxing knowledge...

Be careful what you ask for.. you just might get it. Nonito did say He wanted to become the unified Battam champion so it should happen.
The problem is Uncle Snob; Kameda is not a TR nor a King fighter and the old marica has shown that He's unable to negotiate with other (little) promoters.
            Who knows..

The Japanese are well known to splurge on big names in boxing, and we all know Bob Arum's first love was the almighty Benjamins. Don't be surprised if there's already preliminary talks about this fight from both parties via skype...

You're probably right, I would love to see that fight.

It's funny cause Kameda says "I will fight with Donaire anytime!,".. But yet he contradicts himself when he says that he's already planning the 1st defense of his belt in May & then after his initial defense of the belt, that's when he will officially offer Donaire a unification fight. That's NOT anytime, anytime would be Kameda saying he wants Donaire next & if Donaire gives him a date, he'll accept..& then to top it off Kameda suggested something called the "Kameda Festival", of course in his country of Japan & most likely in the city of Osaka(where he's from) where the cards main fighters would from the Kameda family..How convenient....

Kameda ain't in the million range either, him & his brothers are very well known in Japan(where they are from) but that's it!! Koki has ONLY fought out of japan twice(both in 2008) & that was in Mexico against 2 Tomato Cans.. They are not really well known in this part of the world except by hard core boxing fans...If anything Donaire is way closer to that range than he is & Donaire's is better known internationally...& if u look at both of their resumes, most definitely Donaire's is more impressive cause he has fought & beaten WAY better & more credible opposition than Kameda...
