He was rocked by Jose Cotto, who spent most of his career at 135, and isn't exactly a monstrous puncher.

When he REALLY steps the comp up, anyone with a decent chin, good movement and decent handspeed will give him fits IMO, and Matthew Hatton aint that, he's ****.

It might sound like i'm hating on the bloke, but i'm not. I just don't get the hype about him being this future P4P superstar.

He can be a good World Champion and have a good career, but he'll fall short against the elite IMO.

Good luck to the kid, seriously. I think he'll beat Matt Hatton pretty handily, then we'll see what type of competition he fights when he's champ, which i don't think will be for too long.

You do realize those bums he is facing at 20 are 100000x better then anyone Pacquiao or Mayweather or Wlad were fighting when they were 16-20 years old right? As I said its really not that hard to understand.

well Mayweather didn't turn pro until he was 19, a couple months from 20 so I would hope he is fighting better competition lol lets see at 21 he beat Tony Pep, Angel Manfredy and Genaro Hernandez, at 22 he beat Carlos Gerena and Justin Juuko and was 22-0 at the time, right there is a better competition of fighters, so dude is correct 35-0 nothing but bums, So nice try

Man, Canelo is not ready for big names!!! I dont understand why people dont see this. The dude is ordinary and has not fought anybody of high caliber. Tell me of one person of high quality he has fought. I am not taking anything away from the kid but in this sport you have to earn your spot.

Nevermind he fights and looks exactly like a young Cotto in the ring!

And pac is the exception to the rule most fighters at 20 haven't had anything near a major fight.

So every other major champion didn't fight a lomg list of cans before geting a title shot? I swear you people forget this is how just about every prospect gets handled on their way to the top.
