What a big difference is that? Donaire is not that big of a guy. He might be taller, but all in all he's about the same size with all the other bantamweights. People are saying that Donaire needs to fight a Gamboa or Lopez, but come fight night, those guys are easily over 130lbs when Donaire is rehydrating to the featherweight limit. And I do absolutely agree that he is a much much better skilled boxer than Pac.
Agree, though he has the height to fill-up for higher weights. Unless of course, ODLH comes back and challenges him to fight at 140

No way! Really Montiel? I thought you were bit stunned but now that you mention it, I think you were KTFO.

        the real question is....

The real question is, can/will Donaire put on an additional 30 magical pounds of pure muscle and stay shredded, lightning fast and take power his power up... like Manny has done?

Not that I need to tell anyone who saw it, but that was a wicked shot from Nonito! Herioc effort by Montiel just getting up before the count, but I can't believe the ref let him continue? Dude was rolling around and twitching which should have prompted the ref to waive it off immediately and call for the attention of ringside physicians...he(Montiel) didn't even respond well or come forward when the ref was checking him to see if he could continue...I'm all for giving a champ the benefit of the doubt, but damn

The K.O has received a lot of attention. Just saw espn's Pardon the Interruption debating if the ref should have allowed him to continue when he got up .

It wouldnt of mattered if the fight went on longer. Donaire was walking thru Montiels punches like nothing. Donaire is better than Montiel in every way. If Montiel was smart he would avoid Donaire for the rest of his career like the plague.

well it's not exactly difficult, with an appropriate diet and training anybody can ... its kinda impossible not too, personally if you can compete at a higher weight is down to your own skill level, obviously the punches are gonna be harder, but also your bigger so ......

I was not a fan of Montiel and did not know anything about him, but reading this and seeing his effort, I understand why he has a bit of a following. You gotta like the way he talks and carries himself. Any other fighter would just say that they got caught with a lucky punch and find excuses.
