Yep. Just saying the fight is winnable. Moreno is skilled, and as JRo said, evasive. But he's definitely not as evasive nor as defensively skilled as Pea. He's hittable, vulnerable to straights, and doesn't counter that well under pressure. And I'm not too sure if that body can take much punishment.

As he should, Donaire has worked long and hard to get the recognition he has just earnt. He deserves bigger opponents than Moreno and he would have that in Mares. However Agbeko and Moreno bring the same amount of recognition to the table in my opinion.

The fights with Sid were not close. Do you know how bad road teams have to beat guys to get D's in Germany? Dude is so good that they can't find ways to rob him (this all the silly SD's). Donaire might win. He's that good. Opponent comparison doesn't work though based on styles. Chavez walked through a lot of guys Pea had to go the route with. Chavez was more entertaining because of it.

        Pea tapped that ass.

Donaire-Moreno is a fantastic match and the sort of foe who makes Donaire even better.

I definitely agree, especially with your last sentence. Batman needs his Joker, Penguin and Riddler to be great, just like Pacquiao had his Barrera, Marquez and Morales. In order to be great, you need a great protagonist on the other side to play the "villian" role to the hilt, and Moreno, Mares and Agbeko will provide that for Donaire.

I remember back in the days, most of the great fights under 140 has been ignored by casual Americans, but the Barrera-Morales rivalry which started at 122 changed all that. Great rivalries that usually makes great fights attracts even the most picky sports fans, and I do hope that Donaire stays at 118 and clean out that division before moving up...

Donaire vs Moreno or Mares-Agbeko Winner is the next Best Fight at 118 lb!

Plz make this fight happen Bob~~~

As much as I want Doanire to Move Up in weight, staying at Bantam for 2 more fights will be great for Nonito and escpecially fighting a top guy like Moreno... He needs to be undisputed so that there will be no doubt when he will leave this division!!!

I hope Arum will listen to Donaire & the fans!
Make this fight plz plz plz!!!
I agree. Donaire needs to become the first asian to become an Undisputed Champ.

Im a Pac fan but im already tired of boxers jumping weight divisions.

Let's go Donaire. become an undsiputed champ.

Moreno would cause Donaire some problems.

Yep, he can definitely stop the Donaire train with the constant movement and distance fighting from the southpaw stance. I still give Nonito the edge though. He's a thinking fighter, good at misdirecting opponents while waiting and timing his opponents to unleash those counters. And the skills, speed and power are all there.

Moreno's no good at infighting. Nonito will need to increase his workrate a lot more, use jabs and straight rights to come in on Moreno, and target that body at the outset. Once he's in, he can do that matrix thing he does before unleashing his hooks. I think he can KTGO.

A KO against Moreno...not impossible but I don't see happening.

Moreno is a good boxer but Nonito has more tools and I'm seeing winning if they fight. Nonito is a complete fighter. I can see the fight going the distance though...

But wait! Moreno told he'll be like mayweather so I think he really wants to fight Nonito. LOL
