I think showtime is better.Fights on both fridays & saturdays. The only thing hbo has over showtime is money.Showtime puts young guys against good opposition & they don't spoil & pamper fighters like hbo.
HBO, Just Plain Better Than Showtime

Yeah but how much does it matter if people aren't watching, I'm sure SHO would love to have HBO's budget and resources, their better match ups for less money shtick isn't always true. Darchynian vs whoever isn't always a great match up, and the Super Six is really a dud. Pac-Mosley SHO-PPV is their chance to impress, I just want to see if they can pull it off.... with less money.Comment

The only thing Showtime ever got truly given to it was the night Casillo fought Corrales on their live broadcast. Which, was the first truly great live fight I ever saw. (the first great live match I ever saw on TV) HBO has and always will be the premium.
The reason behind HBO being the best starts with a solid foundation. HBO has good track records in how they've handled previous events, add to that an obviously better staff (who are better compensated for in pay, I'm sure)
in short, and at the end of the day, the dollar makes the ultimate difference
hbo is what any and every fighters dream should be, to be able to fight for hbo or on that kind of particular level. if you're fighting on hbo, you're somebody.Comment

nah bro... bro if a biitch gives you a BJ for $50 and then that same biitch gives me a BJ for $200, I just overpaid... doesn't matter if I make more money than you.
I'm glad the fighters are getting bigger cuts of the pie,
even if it does create a "Money" Mayweather.Comment

yeah hbo has always been better but their fight schedule this year is garbage.
khan-mccloskey
judah
berto-ortiz
maidana-morales(ppv)
hopkins-pascal 2(i enjoyed the first fight but i ain't interested in the rematch. any young, prime fighter that gets beat by someone as old as bhop embarrases the sport.)
i will cancel my hbo subscription after march 12th. after the only good fight on the schedule.
If HBO lands Khan-Bradley though you'll want that subscription back and it is clear to me, by way of his own actions that Floyd will be back in the ring this year, if so, HBO is still the place to be for boxing.Comment

It's just like Gamboa. He went straight to HBO, from what I can remember. It didn't surprise me, knowing he had around 300 amateur bouts and I had seen him fight, so I knew he was great. HBO gets all the good fighters. The guys that are good that they can't get, are in the process of being gotten... course there's nothing wrong with going to who pays the higher amount, that's all it is.Comment

I don't mind that as long as they fighting quality opponents
you're a horrible person cause you're an enabler.
My view on Floyd is that the best most talented fighters should be best compensated, its more dissapointing when average fighters make the most money.Comment
