    Now offered £30k.

Should really take it. Will help pay the mortgage.
What about taxes? Idk about you but whenever I see a fighters purse, i always assume that the fighter gets out around half of it for himself.

      half of 30k>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>sweet **** all.

Warren would have no problem letting him rot. He can fight for 30k, and fight for a bigger purse later in the year if he wins. Or can get a minamum wage job and spend 2 years earning that 30k

i dont think he will quit boxing, he's just trying his luck with Frank, but Frank wont have it, he's too smart for Mitchell.
Kevin Mitchell was prepared for his biggest fight.

                  He lost the drive.

You could see in the Katsidis fight that the rumors of him slacking were true. If you don't love boxing anymore, it's very difficult to retain your motivation and skills. Look at Iron Mike.

As for the purse: it's more than fair. Malignaggi made a cool 2 million USD to fight Ricky Hatton, but only made $10,000 in his next fight. If you lose, your pay drops dramatically. Welcome to the losing end of boxing, Kevin.
