i got hit in the temple once...it messed me up bad. I thought i was standing somewhere I wasnt lol. im serious...it was like i was drunk lol. this guy had knockout power...i still feel if i wouldve got hit in the chin i wouldve at least went down. i just held on for dear life...while i heard everybody in the background sayin "ooooooohh ****!!" lol
im not a boxer regardless of the username (generic). this was just a regular hood boxing match. this guy knocked out the guy before me who was way bigger than me. so like i said if i wouldve got hit in the chin...who knows how it wouldve been...so its my guess that a chin shot it worseComment

A good shot to the temple will leave you so disorientated and discombobulated. You can still think straight and you know whats going on but the ring will become like one of those fun house rooms at the carnival where the room is on a 45' angle. It's like your fighting and then somebody just turns the room over on ya. You'll take a step and in your mind your foot should be on the canvas but it just never seems to reach it............Rockin'Comment

Not true, a punch behind the head is the most devastating.
It goes like this, when a fetus is growing the skull grows in two halves until everything meets up at the back of the head. The skulls joining make a sharp ridge in the back of your head. When you are hit in the back of the head the brain will first be knocked into that shap ridge possibly causing bleeding and gauges............Rockin'Comment

Montiel seemed to have gotten rocked with a power countershot to the temple, i'm used to seeing solid shots to the chin do that. So to all boxers out there, how devistating is this shot based on personal experience?
I always figured a shot to the temple completely messes up you equalibrium, but don't know for certain about that or any other effects.Comment
