nonito is definitely more skilled but that has been said about pac since year x and now it's 2011 and he's the king of boxing. even the most skilled boxer (floyd) is scared that pac's y ability as in Y in the hell would this non-skilled one dimensional fighter have beaten so many hall of famers that were skilled and the likes of jmm not have gotten rid of him earlier?
he's a wild card that does the unbelievable do to is awkward fighting. as chups mentioned, many skilled fighters would be over him in fantasy but reality shows pac is above the monster.
i pick pac cause he shocks us time and time again and he would find a way.
plus roach+pac > any duoComment

Pacquiao was crazy raw at 122. Donaire is simply more polished and has all the talent too. He wins, possibly by KO though Pac's chin was pretty damn good at that point.Comment

126 and above is when donaire would start to have serious issues with somebody as big as manny
hell, we don't know how much weight donaire can hold while maintaining his speed.
he only weighed 124 unofficially according to hbo
and they weigh them in clothing. not a good sign for him moving up. i thought he'd be about 128.
manny is the bigger guy
donaire is a better fighter today than manny in '01
why isnt robert garcia getting more credit for his work with donaire?
he's launching punches like a goddamn heavyweight recently.
he wasnt born doing that
i'll tell you why
"You wanna see freddie roach? [points to brandon rios.]"
thats why
hbo hates him and will for the duration of his runComment

garcia is simply there to motivate nonito. nonito and garcia have said so on numerous occasions.126 and above is when donaire would start to have serious issues with somebody as big as manny

good point. roach will find a way to exploit donaires weakness.nonito is definitely more skilled but that has been said about pac since year x and now it's 2011 and he's the king of boxing. even the most skilled boxer (floyd) is scared that pac's y ability as in Y in the hell would this non-skilled one dimensional fighter have beaten so many hall of famers that were skilled and the likes of jmm not have gotten rid of him earlier?

It's because every single weight he was a different fighter. He was different at 126 than 122, 130 than 126, 135 and 140 to to 130, etc.
He was seriously raw at 122. Donaire is a far more polished fighter, and he has both the skills that make Pacquiao uncomfortable and the power to back it up.Comment

Donaire hasn't been tested yet- nobody's ever taken him to the edge.
Pacquiao would have done that.
Just based on how battle-tested they are, I pick Pacquiao.
Everybody picking donaire is just talking out there ass- nobody has seen him under pressure, so nobody knows.
Pacquiao is the kind of guy you have to kill to beat- and you have to be equally as tough- like Marquez and Morales are.Last edited by DARKSEID; 02-21-2011, 03:42 PM.Comment
