Ortiz vs berto is a good fight..Jones vs berto is a better fight....Berto has a questionable chin so anything can happen with Ortiz or Jones...but IMO Jones vs Berto is a better fight then Ortiz vs Berto

I can dig Berto/Ortiz, it doesn't scream EXCITING, but...........I like Cotto/Mayorga for a tune-up to Margs, seeing how Cotto aint fought in like a good minute. soo, f-ck em, entertain ME, f-ck what you want. and Pac/Mosley, ehhhhhh, I was hating before, but I'm coming around to the idea, but i better get a nasty undercard, it's like I said YOU entertain ME.

lol that is funny because all the haters on this Forum was talking about how Berto was ducking True Welterweights, it seems to me like they are the ones ducking Berto

Berto has called so many fighters out and none of them accepts but yet people BASH Berto as if he is the one ducking them, was not aware that Mike Jones camp turned down a fight with Berto TWICE but the haters will IGNORE THAT and continue to bash Berto lol

I personally don't care for Ortiz vs Berto because Berto won't get any credit for destroy Ortiz, this fight is nothing more then Golden Boy Promotions HOPE FOR THE BEST IN THIS FIGHT and hoping that Ortiz gets the upset so they can pump up Ortiz and try to make him a Draw lol

Berto is going to SMASH THAT KID...and people on this FORUM will post...Berto beat a Smaller Guy BLAH BLAH BLAH

they both are right. berto is fighting 140 pounders and bums and is insanely overpaid. Arum is a hypocrite because he has cotto fight a shot mayorga etc etc

I like the Cotto/Mayorga fight, even if its just a money grab tune up, because I like both fighters.

But on the topic...Arum should really not comment on other people's shows. I mean...he just put Soto-Karass on a co-feature last night, the same Soto-Karass who was beat by the 'bus-boy' F. Hernandez.

These people should just work together and do what they can to promote each other and other shows. Act in good faith and get **** done for the betterment of the fans and the fighters
It is obvious that Bob Arum is like a 5 year old who doesn't want to share his toys with other little boys and girls. Arum probably got report cards sent home in elementary school that said "Bobby does not play well with others."

I get that this is a business, but Arum only wants to share when someone else is holding all the cards. Hell, other fighters wont even get considered to fight with his guys without talk of leaving their current promoter and promise to come work with him. And he has the nerve to try and complain about a fighter from another stable not fighting his guy. That my friends is hypocracy at its finest.

Mike Jones is all hype. Last night, he ran around flicking out a jab, throwing an occasional hook and maybe one or two combos per round. That is not very exciting, at least Berto vs. Ortiz will create something (I hope). And I love how Dibella nailed Arum for his crappy decision making especially with making people pay to see Cotto vs. Mayorga, which is a Boxing After Dark kinda fight at best. But, I have to say though (as I have always said) ALL PROMOTERS are scumbags but in this case, Dibella has a point and Arum looks foolish....

The fight takes place on April 16. A few days ago, Arum and DiBella traded words over the upcoming fight. He believes Berto (27-0, 21KOs) should be fighting unbeaten welterweight Mike Jones (24-0, 18KOs), and not Ortiz.
